Steven K. Freel
Client Relationship Manager
Steven K. Freel is a valued Colorado-based member of Prairie Rose, with extensive experience spanning 42 years. Throughout his career, Steven has shown an unwavering dedication to making a difference in his clients’ lives through prudent financial planning and management. In his role as Client Relationship Manager, Steven collaborates closely with all our clients to assist them in pursuing their needs and goals.
Originally from Southeast Iowa, Steven attended college at the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Colorado, where he earned a B.A. in business.
Steven is recognized for his ability to connect with clients on a personal level, fostering life-long relationships, and a deep commitment to understanding the needs and goals of his clients. Steven co-founded Prairie Rose Wealth Management to devote his career to helping farming and agricultural families navigate the financial landscape of the Midwest and Southern United States.


Steven and his wife, Janis, live in Colorado and are the proud parents of two children, Jay and Jeana, and four grandchildren. Outside of work, Steven enjoys reading, riding horses, hiking, taking walks, and watching University of Colorado sporting events. Steven is an active member of the University of Colorado Flat Irons Society and regularly donates to the Headlight Children's Home and individual missionaries.

Jordan Sathoff
LPL Financial Planner
Jordan Sathoff is a dedicated and experienced CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, specializing in serving agricultural families, working professionals, and a variety of clients across the Midwest and Southern United States.
Raised in rural Southeast Iowa in the town of Packwood, Jordan graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, earning a business degree. While at Wartburg, he not only excelled academically but also competed as a two-sport athlete in basketball and track & field. He was inducted into the Warburg College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2024.
In 2012, Jordan joined the financial services industry working at a Broker Dealer, and in 2016, began working as a Financial Advisor. Jordan and Steve partnered in 2022 to form what is now Prairie Rose Wealth Management.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys assisting on the family farm, fishing, camping, horseback riding across the country with his family, and participating in and coaching local recreational basketball leagues. Jordan and his wife, Rachael, currently reside at the “old homeplace” on the family farm with their two sons, Jadon and Emmett. The family is proud to continue the farming legacy, with Rachael being the fifth generation to work the land.

Jordan remains connected to his community by serving as an elder and teaching Sunday school at Sharon Presbyterian Church in rural Farmington, Iowa. Jordan also serves as a volunteer youth basketball coach for the local YMCA and Little League baseball team.

Jessica Longnecker
Administrative Assistant
Jessica Longnecker is the Administrative Assistant for Prairie Rose Wealth Management. With several years of administrative experience, Jessica is dedicated to maintaining streamlined processes for the office and supporting clients where needed.
Originally from Zeeland, MI, Jessica studied at Davenport University in Grand Rapids. Her administrative career started at a local hospital, but she later moved to the finance industry, where she felt she could have a greater impact in a smaller office environment. Since joining Prairie Rose Wealth Management, her role has expanded and so has her knowledge of the financial industry. She especially enjoys getting to know clients and their families and knowing that the work she provides is an essential step in helping them towards their financial goals.
Jessica and her husband, Eric, live in West Michigan and are the proud parents of two children, Sophia and Rosalie. Their daughters keep them very busy with school, sports, and various activities, and occasionally they enjoy a family cruise. Being owners of a golden retriever and 2 cats, Jessica and her family also volunteer at The Cats Den, a cat rescue organization.
